If it's stance you're looking for, it's hard to beat an Orange County Choppers creation, and this 2016 OCC creation is a classic from the company Newburgh, New York, workshop. OCC was founded by Paul Teutel senior in 1999 as an independent custom motorcycle fabricator, with every motorcycle designed, engineered and manufactured in house by Paul Sr. and his team, which includes his son Paul Jr. OCC was at the center of the groundbreaking television reality series “American Chopper,” which debuted only three years after the shop was founded in 2002. The shop quickly became famous the world over for its outrageous designs and the personalities within its walls, and the TV show has entertained many millions of people weekly.
OCC creations are typically conceived and built on a theme, and this machine was built around the blue flame concept for Spins Bowl of New York. The chassis is an 8-inch up by 5-inch out rigid design with a 40-degree rake, and it's powered by a Rev Tech 100 CI V-twin motor and 5-speed Rev Tech gearbox. The forks are 16 inches over with a 5-degree triple tree rake, and a Fat Spoke 18x8.5 rear wheel and 21x2.125 front wheel run Metlzer Marathon tires. The forward foot controls are by Legend, with Arlen Ness Petite hand controls. The tanks and fenders are custom, and the blue paint scheme is a satin finish metallic with black flames and yellow outline pinstripes. The exhaust has custom fishtail tips for a touch of old-school vibe. The overall effect is pure OCC—stretched and long with the uniqueness turned up to 11.
